On Sunday night, BET held the 14th annual BET Awards ceremony in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre. As always, it was an interesting and entertaining evening (to say the least). Chris Rock took the stage for the first time as the BET Awards' host, and kept the audience rolling while tossing a few hilarious shots at the celebrities in the house. The evening saw performances from Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Iggy Azalea, Pharrell, and Jhene Aiko, to name a few. We also saw favorites like Beyonce, Drake, and August Alsina all score wins during the ceremony.
Of course, the evening wasn't without a pinch of shade, as many viewers took to Twitter seconds after Nicki Minaj's acceptance speech for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist (which some are saying included shots at Iggy Azalea). And to top it all off, Lionel Ritchie Richie was bestowed with this year's Lifetime Achievement award.
