As DAD grows, we're trying to do new things, and help expose heads to new sounds. Part of that is helping present exciting club nights, and this Flying Saucers event, which goes down at Webster Hall on May 21, speaks so much to what we're about. As you can see, yes, Chad Hugo of The Neptunes will be in the building, but this is as 1/2 of MSSL CMMND, his group with Daniel Biltmore. While we all know The Neptunes' storied pedigree, know that Biltmore is no slouch; he's not only rocked alongside the likes of Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg and moombahton creator Dave Nada, but has also performed for Microsoft and the POTUS, Barack Obama. Joining them are $1 Bin, who knocked out a stellar DAD Mix for us and is a dope producer/DJ in his own right, and Suzi Analogue, who has been blending the sounds of R&B and electronic music for years. Entry is FREE with RSVP before 12AM, so get yourself sorted for this night ASAP. And if you're still on some "What the hell is a MSSL CMMND" ish, check out their recently-released remix of Sam Smith's "Stay With Me."
