Birdman is known to have a plethora of tattoos, but last night he went out and got two new ones. His new ink carries a lot of significance for the CEO of Cash Money Records as he looks towards the future of his label. On his right cheek, he has tattooed the symbol of Rich Gang, the name of his management company venture. The Rich Gang album came out last July.
On the middle finger of his left hand, Birdman got the letters "YMCMYSL" inked. This stands for Young Money Cash Money Stoner Life, a reference to Young Thug's movement. Birdman is reportedly managing and serving as a mentor to Thug at this time. While Thug has stated in a couple of interviews that he is signed to Cash Money Records, he is still believed to be under contract with Atlantic Records through Gucci Mane's Brick Squad 1017 imprint. Regardless of label situation, it is quite clear that the young buzzmaker has one of hip-hop's biggest playmakers firmly in his corner.
