Boldy James isn't afraid to tell it like it is. In his new video for "What's the Word," the Detroit rapper shares hard-life rhymes that he and others have experienced. The tone of the record is dark, and James does a wonderful job depicting this in the visuals. This will probably be the first time you see someone go to a therapy session with a bottle of champagne in hand to ease the pain. Now that's real. The music video is directed by Gerard Victor.

"What's the Word" is off James' debut album My 1st Chemistry Set, which is fully produced by The Alchemist. The project includes appearances from Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, and Vince Staples, and is available on iTunes.
