King Chip comes through today with his new music video "BLK on BLK."
The Cleveland rapper described the song and video to Complex last month, stating, "I’m just hoping that it does what I want it to do. It’s one of those records where it’s very detailed. I’m describing me and my surroundings, where I grew up." The visuals follow suit, where Chip also shows off his directing skills over Cardo's intense production.
The viewer is given a lyrical tour of the rough streets in Cleveland, where shootings and sirens have become the norm. "At night my hood is black on black," Chip declares, as he finds some comfort from a beautiful woman by his side.
King Chip's latest mixtape 44108 is available now.
