Multiple reports are indicating that Bruno Mars will be performing at the 2014 Super Bowl Halftime Show. While the NFL has yet to make an official announcement, numerous sources believe that the announcement will be made as early as tomorrow, when the main slate of regular season games will be played. The Super Bowl will be played at the MetLife stadium in New Jersey on February 2.

Bruno is in the midst of a very successful 2013. While his sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox came out in December 2012, the album topped the Billboard charts in March, propelled by the single "Locked Out Of Heaven" and his Moonshine Jungle tour. Unorthodox Jukebox has sold roughly 960,000 copies nationwide in 2013 alone, making it one of the top-sellers of the year. Two weeks ago he performed at the MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn.

As a sidenote, an NFL spokesperson chose to only rule out two possible performers: Janet Jackson and Miley Cyrus. Harsh.
