Frank Ocean Cancels Australian Tour Due to Vocal Cord Tear

After tearing a vocal cord onstage while performing at last nights show in Melbourne, Frank Ocean has cancelled his remaining tour dates in Australia.

"After last night's concert... it was necessary to seek medical advice due to vocal issues Frank Ocean experienced during the show," his concert promoter Live Nation said. "It has subsequently been confirmed that Frank has suffered a small tear to one of his vocal cords and has received medical advice that he must rest his voice."

Frank Ocean will miss four shows in total, including two sold-out performances in Sydney, Australia next week, as well as his headling show at Splendour in Byron Bay this Sunday. All tickets for these shows will be refunded.
