Living in the shadow of a celebrity can be a gift and a curse, especially when that celebrity has become immortalized due to death. Trying to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Big Pun as his son is certainly a daunting task. Some would say it is impossible. Just don't say that to Chris Rivers.

The youngest child of Pun, Rivers sounds uncannily like his father in regular conversation. He even went by the name Baby Pun for several years. However, since changing his rap moniker, Rivers has found his own style, introspective and brooding. Still, there is no denying the influence of Pun on his son's rap abilities.

On Sunday afternoon, Chris Rivers dropped his latest mixtape Wonderland Of Misery. The mixtape consists of twenty-six tracks, and displays the full range of skills Rivers has in his arsenal. There are several songs on the tape where Rivers demonstrates a breath control that is eerily similar to his father. Included on the track are two collaborations with Styles P, "Enjoy The Atmosphere" and "War Room." The latter track also features Vinnie Paz from Jedi Mind Tricks. Peep how Rivers begins his verse on "War Room," and check the whole project below.

Rivers is currently speaking on Hot 97 with Peter Rosenberg. You might want to tune in.
