Students of Barrington High School, in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, participated in a contest for which they submitted a video describing their charity work. The grand prize? A visit from Rihanna. The students had to wait a few extra hours to see the pop star, but there was Chicago traffic holding her up:

All was forgiven once she was introduced in the gymnasium to the 2500 students. Fanfare ensued. Hugs were distributed liberally.
