Mobb Deep Reunites In First Interview Together Since Last Year's Feud

The legendary Queensbridge duo says that the fight from last year was "brotherly" in nature.

After months of speculation and press releases, it appears that Mobb Deep is officially back together.

In an interview with MTV's Rob Markman, their first since last year's nasty public spat, Prodigy and Havoc addressed the speculation and put rumors to rest that the two had sustained beef with each other. Havoc in particular acknowledged that he was the one behind the Tweets that ignited the firestorm. "The tweets definitely happened and I take my part in that," Havoc said "When family goes through things it's like, they shouldn't be handled in the streets. I definitely take responsibility for that."

According to the duo, the relationship that formed the group is like that of two brothers, and therefore the fighting between the two of them was like two brothers going at it.

Along with their performance on this year's Paid Dues lineup and upcoming 20th Anniversary Tour, it appears that fans might be getting some more Mobb Deep music. "At the end of the day, the music is the most important thing and our love for each other it's only right we're gonna get right back to work," Prodigy said.

It will be interesting to see how new Mobb Deep music will be received. Following Prodigy's release from prison, the duo got back to work quickly, building significant buzz. However, last year's controversy definitely left a sour taste in the mouth of fans of the duo.
