Say what you will about Lena Dunham’s Girls, but its first season featured a pretty impressive array of great music. Now HBO and Fueled by Ramen are getting ready to put out the official soundtrack, Girls – Volume 1: Music from the HBO Original Series.
Amongst tracks from the likes of Fleet Foxes, Robyn and Fun. is a brand new cut from Santigold. The appropriately titled “Girls” is an ecstatic round with the style we’ve all come to expect from Philly rapper/singer/songwriter. Listen to “Girls” below, pick up the soundtrack January 8 via HBO/Fueled by Ramen and look out for Girls season two starting January 13 on HBO.
