Word has been out for a little bit that Swedish indietronica outfit Little Dragon would have a guest spot on Big Boi’s next album. It must have come as quite a surprise, however, when the OutKast member showed up at a Little Dragon show in Austin last night to perform the song, entitled “Mama Told Me.” Sharing a stage with Big Boi is now easy feat, but Little Dragon frontwoman Yukimi Nagano manages to hold her own on the funky track.
“Mama Told Me” is set to appear on Big Boi’s sophomore solo album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, due out November 13 via Def Jam. Check out the incredible performance above.
