As we previously reported, former Cash Money rapper B.G. faced up to 40 years in federal prison for felony gun charges. His sentence, which was handed down yesterday, is far shorter than that, but the New Orleans native is still going away for some time. He was sentenced to 14 years for the charges, which stem from a 2009 traffic stop. Officers found three guns when they searched the rapper and his associates and it was also learned that the car was stolen.

B.G. was an original member of the Hot Boys with Lil Wayne, Turk, and Juvenile. You can view B.G.'s new Twitter avatar above.
