Our big homies at ego trip are never short of creative ways to celebrate hip-hop history, especially their regular contributor rapper/producer/author J-Zone, who today created a list of eight good rap albums with terrible cover art for their egotripland site. His selections for this distinguished short list were all released between '89-'92, including albums by Special Ed and Wrecks-n-Effect, and some guys you may have never heard of like Redhead Kingpin and Cooly Live (see Cooly's cover above for an example). Zone dissects the wackness of the cover art, and the dopeness of the album content, in the link below. Remember, don't judge a rap album by its cover.
