For his New Year's Eve performance, Cee Lo Green took on the classic John Lennon tune "Imagine." It was a pretty straightforward cover, but he made one small change, and it didn't go unnoticed. Cee Lo changed the lyric "Nothing to kill or die for, and no religion too" for the slightly more politically correct "Nothing to kill or die for, and all religion's true."

Lennon enthusiasts were not happy. After Cee Lo was flooded with messages from angry fans, he sent out an apology on Twitter and explained, "Yo I meant no disrespect by changing the lyric guys ... I was trying to say a world where u could believe what u wanted, that's all." The message was deleted soon after he sent it and replaced with "Happy New Year Everyone!" You can't please everyone.
