During a stop at BBC’s Live Lounge, Florence & The Machine took on Drake’s “Take Care.” This might be the closest Flo ever comes to rapping, so check it out. Just to keep everything straight, “I’ll Take Care of You” was originally done by Gil Scott-Heron, then Jamie xx remixed it. Then Drake remixed that, and now Flo covers Drizzy’s version. So here is Flo’s cover of Drakes remix of Jamie xx’s remix of Gil Scott-Heron’s “I’ll Take Care Of You.” Drake should remix Flo’s cover, right? That seems like the logical next move.
UPDATE: Someone in The Shoutbox pointed out that Bobby Bland was actually the first to sing this song.
