When you listen to Wavves' music, it doesn't exactly scream "MTV soundtrack," but that's what we're getting out of the West Coast rockers. Wavves has been named "guest composer" for an upoming MTV series called I Just Want My Pants Back. The pilot of the show will premiere this Sunday, August 28, at 11 p.m.
In related news, Wavves' EP Life Sux is dropping on September 20. Nathan and the gang also just wrapped up a performance with GZA, which will be airing on Fuze tonight at 8 p.m. Pretty productive for a band best known for their slacker-rock anthems.
