Story of The Week: Lupe Fiasco Calls barack obama "the biggest terrorist"

On Tuesday Lupe Fiasco sat down with CBS' "What's Trending?" There he spoke out against Obama, terrorism, and explained why he doesn’t vote. In the interview, Lupe maintained that the biggest terrorist of all was Barack Obama. He went on to blame the American government as the root cause for terrorism, citing “the foreign policies that we have in place in different countries that inspire people to become terrorists." On Thursday evening, in an interview with Billboard magazine he refused to retract his statements. His response to the backlash was that of frustration, saying “It’s really about, ‘What do people want to listen to?’ It’s not what I want to talk about.”

Yesterday, Drake blessed us with yet another piece of his story. Over 40’s signature baseline he carefully croons curse words, and raps about drunk dialing an ex whom he’s convinced still has feelings for him. Drizzy says his single is coming in July. We’re just happy he’s dropped some heat to hold us over. Look out for Take Care October 24th.

Fat Joe may have to find a new rap name, because like his old jeans, it just doesn’t fit anymore. The Terror Squad boss has shed an amazing 88 pounds and is looking better than ever. Check out this video in which the rapper explains his motivation behind shedding the weight, and gives a couple tips for anyone looking to get a little lighter on their feet.

Win of The Week / Fail of The Week

Queen Latifah had a great week. Sunday, the Newark born rapper/actress was inducted into the New Jersey Hall Of Fame for her contributions to both the music and film industries. Her fellow inductees included John Travolta and Bruce Willis. Congrats to the Queen. On the losing end was Flo Rida, who was busted in Miami Beach Thursday morning for a DUI. For what it’s worth; we’re glad he got pulled over when did. It would have been a complete waste of $1.7 million, had he damaged the Bugatti Veyron he was driving at the time.

Quote of The Week: lupe fiasco calls obama "the biggest Terrorist"
open quote marks

To me, the biggest terrorist is Obama in the United States of America. For me, I’m trying to fight the terrorism that’s actually causing the other forms of terrorism. The root cause of the terrorism is the stuff that you as a government allow to happen and the foreign policies that we have in place in different countries that inspire people to become terrorists.

Number of The Week: How Much Money Did flava flav spend on drugs during a six-year period?

gag amazon 99 cents
In Flava Flav’s new book Flava Flav: Icon, the legendary Public Enemy hype-man openly talks about his battles with drugs and substance abuse. In an interview with Pop Eater he elaborates, saying “I was spending $2,600 a day, for six years, every single day.” If one does the math on that, it comes out to 2,191 days (including a leap year). That means Flav spent $5,696,600 on his constant procurement of the cook-up. We call that blowin’ money, literally.
