There are a number of casualties being reported with one person arrested.

One person died and at least 10 people were injured after a van struck several people outside a mosque in north London's Finsbury Park shortly after midnight on Monday. Metropolitan Police arrested a 48-year-old man following the attack, and counter-terrorism police have launched an investigation into it.

"Officers are on the scene with other emergency services," the Metropolitan Police said in a statement. "There are a number of casualties being worked on at the scene. There has been one person arrested." Authorities, however, wouldn't confirm at the time whether Muslims involved in the incident were leaving the mosque after Tarawih prayers during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. This latest incident comes just weeks after a van plowed into pedestrians on the London Bridge.
