As if you weren't already well aware, Thursday was the day where former FBI director James Comey testified in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. People have been filling up Twitter timelines about it all day. If you're just a normal person who doesn't care for 24/7 commentary on current events, shit probably got a little overwhelming, honestly. Not everyone needs to know where you stand on everything all the time, and most social media commentators aren't anywhere near as unique as they think they are. In fact, many suck ass. Even sometimes the professional ones.

That being said, like most things, there are exceptions to the rule. One thing Twitter is good for is getting you inside the minds of celebrities and pseudo-celebrities (that's not a shot) on topics that you never would've f'ing thought in a million years to ask them about. You could lose a day reading them.

Enter: Spencer Pratt, who, like hundreds of thousands of other people, threw in his two cents on the hearing that you may or may not have burned a few hours of your life watching and meme'ing. (Why don't you go watch C-SPAN next? That's just as riveting.) The former reality show villain spun it in a tongue-in-cheek way to show his jealousy about not being in the spotlight anymore, and it was entertaining as hell. And since we like fresh takes, here's the highlights. Presumably these tweets make a lot more sense if you watched:

He also DM'ed The Verge to tell them that he did it because "I love reality shows." There's probably a pretty deep commentary on modern America that can be made right there. But, anyway, here's hoping we get a DM too. Wouldn't be the first time.
