A New York City-based fashion label is taking “sex sells” to a new level. Eckhaus Latta’s spring/summer 2017 campaign will feature real couples—including people who were recruited via Craigslist—having sex in front of the camera. That escalated quickly.

Multiple sexual acts and positions were captured for the bold campaign. The designers behind the label, Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta, are known as risk-takers in the fashion world. Advertising is a crazy space, as is fashion, but most would agree this is next level—even for a New York-based fashion label.

Why do something so aggressive? The label says it is “amused by the relationship between fashion advertising and sexuality, and more interested in producing images that are open to interpretation,” according to Hypebeast.

Photographer Heji Shin shot the graphic campaign, which is a no-holds-barred glimpse into sex and how sexuality influences culture. It features interracial, homosexual, and heterosexual couples.

The label’s designers say “real sex, after all, is beautiful” and adds that is an “acceptable—and integral—part of being a human being.”

If the aim of the campaign was to garner public interest and promotion, consider it a success. If you want to view the campaign (and are 18+), have at it.
