Peep the scenario: you wake up on February 14 with a nagging feeling that you're forgetting something. You don't really have any plans, but you know something is missing. It isn't until bae hits you with a "Happy Valentine's Day, what are we doing tonight?" text that you realize you f*cking forgot Valentine's Day.

Gotta think quick, right? Well, the easiest thing to do is a dinner for two, right? If that's your move, don't worry, we've got you covered. Plenty of restaurants and eateries are hooking up free (or extremely discounted) meals for food lovers or lovers who need to eat food for Valentine's Day. If you fit into either of these categories and are trying to plot your move for tonight, we've got you covered.

At Qdoba, for those of you who would love a burrito, there's an intriguing offer to kiss someone to get a free entree of equal or lesser value to what you've ordered. Roll through to Qdoba, slob down on bae, and that second burrito will be $free.99.

Down to diss your ex while dining on some hot wings? Head over to Hooters, who are holding a special Shred Your Ex campaign that will give you a free order of 10 wings when you order 10 wings...and shred a photo of your ex. This would be perfect for those of you who have a girl who "hates that b*tch" you used to date and loves wings as much as you do.

If you're looking for dessert, hit your local Dairy Queen. They have an "Ultimo Choco Brownie Blizzard" cake that's heart-shaped and $10. AKA the perfect fit (and price) for you and bae to chow down on post-wing fest.

For those of you who are trying to devour some mid Italian food, Olive Garden has a spread that you don't even have to eat in their restaurant. For $34.95, you and your significant other can go ham on a meal that includes soup (or salad), breadsticks, a dipping sauce, a entree for two to share, and dessert. You'll have to cop the wine elsewhere, though.

Actual pasta might not be your ideal Italian meal for the night, though, which means you'll have to hit the pizza route straight to Pizza Hut and their $14 Valentine bundle that gives you a one-topping heart-shaped pizza with your choice of dessert. Again, drinks aren't in the deal, so hit your local convenience store for a two-liter of whatever bae likes after you snag this deal.

Sometimes, love hurts. Celebrate overcoming the bad times with a Bloomin' Onion at Outback Steakhouse via their $42 "Bloomin' Love For Two" special, which obviously features a Bloomin' Onion alongside shared entrees, sides, salads, and some New York cheesecake. A love potion cocktail will be $5 extra, but the money saved will mean you can re-up on that Netflix for the post-dinner events.

Mic has a number of other options for Valentine's Day; check out their collection for more.
