A woman attempted to get her ex-boyfriend back by spilling her heart out in a four-page apology letter. What she got back was that same letter with a number of edits in red ink and a D- grade.

Nick Lutz, a 20-year-old University of Central Florida student, told the BBC that he started dating his now ex-girlfriend in February of last year. The relationship came to an end after eight months. Lutz grew increasingly suspicious when she was hiding her phone and started using "code names for guys in her contacts list."

Her last ditch effort to get him back was by penning the apology letter, but Nick wasn't having any of it. Instead, Lutz graded her letter, and shared the entire thing on Twitter.

Lutz points out numerous mistakes in her apology letter, including "lackadaisical" handwriting, using "useless fillers" to make her work longer than it needed to be, and telling her to "stop contradicting your own story and pick a side." The letter has not only amassed over 300,000 likes on Twitter, it may have also found him a new person in his life.

.@NickLutz12 I think you're a little young for me, but this makes me want to date — not cheat on — you.
