A Michigan Uber driver stabbed a passenger five times claiming the passenger disrespected his car, reported the Detroit Free Press. Those who thought the DJing while driving put you in the running for Worst Uber Driver got ahead of themselves.

The Bloomfield Township Police department arrested the Uber driver, 23-year-old Jacob Matthew Allemon of Berkley, on the scene Saturday at about 1:30 a.m. after receiving a phone call about the stabbing. Allemon stabbed a 49-year-old Beverly Hills man who was riding with his wife in Allemon’s 2012 Honda Civic. Despite being stabbed in the chest, back, and face, the man got was able to disarm Allemon and restrain him until police arrived.

The couple attended a holiday party before ordering the Uber. Allemon reportedly felt his car was disrespected when the victim tapped on the car window to let Allemon know they were getting in the vehicle. Allemon drove a mile before driving into a shopping center parking lot and telling the couple to exit the vehicle, which led the victim to ask if they could wait for another Uber ride because there was a snowstorm. That’s when the fight began.

Police said the victim was taken to Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital and was released the following day. As for Allemon, he was charged with “assault with the intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.”

The stabbing incident is another blow to Uber, who earlier this year responded to rape and sexual assault data being leaked in addition to paying $10 million for lying about the extent of their driver vetting.
