Police arrested 30-year-old Tennessee teacher Jarrett Jones for allegedly secretly recording over 40 elementary school students undressing from 2011 to 2015. Police also discovered over 1,000 sexually explicit photos of minors Jones had on his external hard drive, the Metro Nashville Police Department said in a news release.

Jones allegedly recorded children at Napier Elementary school, where he was a music teacher. He is accused of setting up a hidden camera in the music room's closet, where he told students to change for choir or play performances.

Police arrested Jones after a two-week investigation that began after an Antioch High School colleague of Jones’ contacted police upon seeing some “questionable items” on Jones’ computer after the music teacher asked for computer help. Jones began as an assistant band director at Antioch this school year. The school placed him on administrative leave as the authorities began the investigation. With a warrant, police seized Jones’ external hard drive where they found a folder titled "Napier" and over 50 videos of minors changing, in addition to 1,000 sexually explicit photos unrelated to Napier.

Jones is in Metro jail after being charged with “two counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of minors and three counts of sexual exploitation of minors.” Police said more charges are expected.

The children recorded in the videos have reportedly been identified and have met with therapists.
