What would you do for love? Maybe you'd retweet a painfully unfunny joke. Maybe you'd like a few questionable Instagram posts. Hell, you might even Snapchat the experience of babysitting your intoxicated significant other to show just how deep the bond really is. Love is crazy! But would you ever breach notoriously tight airport security in an effort to keep the love of your life, you know, in your life?

Security video obtained byCBS DFW reportedly shows Damarias Cockerham bypassing a security checkpoint and hopping on a plane at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, marking the first time the general public has seen footage of the July 2015 incident. The apparent reason for blowing past security? According to a police report cited by the Dallas Morning News, Cockerham "didn't want his girlfriend going down there and being with the wrong guy."

Cockerham, 25, was ultimately able to board an American Airlines flight bound for Guatemala City. However, after being informed the flight would not leave the airport with him still aboard, he exited and was later met by local officers and detained. According to police, Cockerham "began crying" and didn't immediately answer any questions. Cockerham was ultimately charged with criminal trespassing, the Dallas Morning Newsreported.

In a statement to WTSP Sunday, a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) spokesperson said the incident had spawned multiple "enhancements" to the airport's security features:

In response to this incident last July, DFW made adjustments to checkpoints, including adding glass panel barriers and other enhancements to physical security.
