Porn Stars Share the Craziest Reactions They’ve Received to Revealing Their Job

In the latest "Ask a Porn Star" video, porn stars share the many different, terrible reactions they've gotten after telling people what they do for work.

Porn stars are true professionals who in some cases shoot hundreds of movies per year, so of course they're full of fascinating stories about what it's like to have sex for a living and useful knowledge. Previously, WoodRocket's "Ask a Porn Star" series has revealed porn stars' grossest on-set experiences (yes, pretty gross), explained what people should eat before having anal sex, and enlightened us on the long-standing question of what it's really like to date a porn actress.

In the latest installment of the video series, porn stars reveal the many ways people have reacted when they revealed the kind of work they do for a living. Not surprisingly, there are a wide, wide range of answers. Some of the porn stars said people mostly seem to be pretty cool about it. 

"Mostly people just like when they find out, they just ask you a bajillion questions," said April O'Neil. "Which is fine. I've never had anyone be like an asshole about it."

"I really haven't gotten any bad reactions," Jade Nile added. "I know that there's negative energy out there that is not supportive of our community. I have yet to really, truly experience it."

Of course, some of the reactions were terrible. 

"I was disowned," Rain DeGrey.

"You're a fucking prostitute," Vyxen Steel said someone said to her.

The strangest answer, though, might have come from male performer Mickey Mod, who said that people didn't want him to come to their children's birthday party after they found out he worked in porn.

"I know that sometimes people make the assumption that people who work in pornography area  danger to children, but we all work with adults here," he said. "We're all adults, consenting. A lot of times when you hear about people being a danger to children, they tend to be in places where ... the children are. You hear that all the time about teachers, priests. A lot of people we put trust into ..."
