Three Florida men were arrested over the weekend for allegedly murdering and robbing 21-year-old Tyler Macklin in order to have extra "flash cash" to display in a music video. The Polk Country Sheriff's department said Joseph Edward Gomes-Brandon Jr., Jonathan Felix, and Dylan Kindred, ages 18, 21, and 20 respectively, were arrested Saturday.

Kindred is the only one of the men arrested who is not being charged with first degree murder, according to the Polk County Sheriff's department. According to the sheriff's department, 20-year-old Kindred stayed in the car while Gomes-Brandon Jr. and Felix allegedly broke into Macklin's home, killing him and stealing money.

According to a report sent to Complex, the young men's motive for their alleged crimes was to get money to "flash cash" in a rap show:

While in the vehicle the three suspects discussed their mutually shared need to obtain an unspecified but large amount of currency in order to be able to "flash cash" while they were performing rap songs in a rap show scheduled on May 12, 2016, in Tampa.

The three men were arrested on Saturday for crimes committed on the evening of Wednesday, May 11. All three men had previous criminal records.
