Jeremy Meeks, a.k.a. the "Hot Mugshot Guy" who dominated timelines in 2014, is a free man again. Meeks was set to be released on Wednesday, according to an ongoing countdown over on his official Instagram and a report from New York Magazine. The viral star, who briefly resurfaced again last year following news of an alleged modeling contract, had been sentenced to two years in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Meeks became an instant hit when Stockton Police Department officials uploaded his mugshot to their official Facebook page in June 2014, quickly garnering the attention of proud thirst enthusiasts from seemingly every corner of the universe. "Marry me," one particularly thirst-driven Facebook user demanded in the photo’s comments. "I'd visit him in jail," wrote another, apparently missing the previous promise of marriage.

In addition to prison time, the New York Daily News reports that Meeks was also sentenced to mandatory participation in a 500-hour Bureau of Prisons Substance Abuse Treatment program. According to another 2014 report from the Daily News, Meeks is believed to have hired the assistance of two "Hollywood agents" shortly after hitting viral fame. Though the initial rumors regarding that alleged modeling contract were proven to be exaggerations, White Cross Management is currently working to get Jeremy "Hot Mugshot Guy" Meeks his own reality TV series.

In fact, in a statement to BuzzFeed News, White Cross agent Jim Jordan confirmed that plans were very much in option surrounding Meeks' exit from prison. "We're putting everything in place," Jordan said on Wednesday. "We're in talks with a lot of different agencies. There's movies on the table. We have a lot of different things happening."
